Director of Admissions ~ Melissa Filippi

The mission of Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is to partner with the Christian home and church in the training of children, maximizing their potential to lead Christian lives according to biblical standards. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy will accomplish this mission by providing a challenging Christ-centered environment; instilling Christ-like character and conduct in students through training, example, and study of God's Word; teaching an approach to life from a biblical perspective; and encouraging the development of each student’s God-given gifts and talents.

Our policy on admissions attempts to reflect the philosophy of our school.  We strive to enroll students who exhibit the biblical values of showing care and concern for others in our school community as well as a demonstration of enthusiasm for the learning process. As part of the admissions process each applicant is asked to visit and be a part of our school for an entire day. Admissions criteria include, but are not limited to Christian testimony of family, church involvement of family, and commitment to the Trinity Oaks Christian Academy mission, Christian service and Matthew 18, academic assessment, behavioral/emotional history, student attitude, classroom visitation feedback, family interview and sibling enrollment at Trinity Oaks Christian Academy.

Students entering must provide copies of recent standardized test scores with their application and be tested for appropriate grade placement. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is not equipped with the resources required to serve children who are seeking to be admitted into special education programs. The first quarter of the school year is considered a trial period for all new students.
