We are a small school in a large building. With that in mind, we have prepared a plan to unite students, faculty and staff on campus starting August 12.

WE WILL BE TOGETHER ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is blessed to be a relatively small school in a large building. We have enough space and capacity to have all students on campus for a normal class schedule with whatever spacing is required.

WE OFFER TWO DIFFERENT LEARNING OPTIONS

Trinity Oaks is committed to using all our resources, facilities, and creativity to provide an in-person learning experience that prioritizes the health and well-being of students. For students and families with health issues or concerns, we will provide a remote learning option, to ensure that students continue to have a high-quality TOCA experience. Next week, parents and students will have the opportunity to select one of these two options.

WE ARE FOLLOWING STATE GUIDELINES

Even though Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is a private school and often has freedoms and opportunities that are not available to many other schools, we are a recognized school with ISBE and IHSA. Thus, we need to abide by their guidelines.

FACE COVERINGS

According to the IDPH, all individuals in school buildings, including all public and nonpublic schools that serve students in preschool through grade 12, must wear face coverings at all times. Face coverings do not need to be worn outside if social distance is maintained.

WE ARE READY FOR ANYTHING

Because of the changing nature of the current pandemic, we could be forced to move to remote learning for a period of time. We are ready to provide an outstanding synchronous learning experience for our students during that time so that learning is seamless and uninterrupted.

INCREASED CLEANING AND SANITATION PROCEDURES

ADEQUATELY SPACED CLASSROOM ARRANGEMENTS USING SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES

OUTDOOR SPACES

A portion of every weather permitting day will be spent in one of our designated outdoor learning spaces. This will allow for fresh air and mask removal while maintaining social
distancing.

SYMPTOM SCREENING AND TOUCH-FREE TEMPERATURE CHECKS FOR ALL STUDENTS, FACULTY, STAFF AND GUESTS ENTERING THE BUILDING
