H.O.P.E. (Husky Organization of Parents and Educators)
HOPE@TOCA (Husky Organization of Parents and Educators) is a ministry of Trinity Oaks Christian Academy that exists to build community among our school families. HOPE@TOCA is led by a steering committee comprised of parents that are committed not only to our children's education, but also to making our school community a “family”. HOPE facilitates a workday in August before school starts to prepare, maintain and beautify our building. HOPE also plans and hosts a variety of events such as New Parent Coffees, the annual Back to School Picnic, Outdoor Movie Night, Stade's Farm Family Outing, Christmas parades, Husky Night, Winter Carnival and other family events.
HOPE@TOCA also supports our teachers by facilitating teacher appreciation by organizing room parents, weekly “Teacher Treats”, the annual faculty Christmas Luncheon, and a week long “Teacher Appreciation Week” held in May. A group of women faithfully meet each week of the school year to lift our faculty, staff, school needs, and school families to the Lord in prayer.
We do provide some financial support for the school through our fundraising efforts. HOPE@TOCA hosts monthly Dine and Share events at local restaurants in addition to Raise Right and Box Tops for Education. Our biggest fundraising event is the all-school Race for Education held in May every year.
HOPE is the best avenue as a parent in which to get involved in the school community by volunteering and attending events. It is a blessing and a privilege to partner with Trinity Oaks families, faculty, and staff in service to our Lord.
