General Admissions Standards
The mission of Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is to partner with the Christian home and church in the training of children, maximizing their potential to lead Christian lives according to biblical standards. Trinity Oaks will accomplish this mission by providing a challenging Christ-centered education; instilling Christ-like character and conduct in students through training, example, and the study of God's Word; teaching an approach to life from a biblical perspective; and encouraging the development of each student’s God-given gifts and talents.
Our admissions policy reflects the philosophy of our school. Each applicant will be asked to visit and be a part of our school for an entire day. We strive to enroll students who exhibit the biblical values of showing care and concern for others in our school community as well as demonstrate enthusiasm for learning. Admissions criteria include, but are not limited to, Christian testimony of family, church involvement of family, commitment to the Trinity Oaks mission, Christian service, academic assessment, behavioral/emotional history, student attitude, classroom visitation feedback, family interview, and sibling enrollment at Trinity Oaks. Students entering must provide copies of recent standardized test scores with their application and be tested for appropriate grade placement.
Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is not equipped with the resources required to serve children who are seeking to be admitted into special education programs. Careful consideration is given to each applicant to make certain our program is a good match for the applicant’s needs. The first quarter is considered a trial period for all new students.
