Art classes at Trinity Oaks Christian Academy from elementary through high school are designed to emphasize creativity, technical skills in various art media, and critique ability. Art classes help students to discover how people communicate through images and gain a greater understanding of the world through God’s eyes. Significant works of art from various time periods are used to encourage students to formulate an understanding of elements, techniques, symbolism, and styles used to communicate a message within a 2 or 3-dimensional piece. Students build their own art skills through various media and shading techniques. Students of all ages are challenged to see, appreciate, and produce art that reflects the creativity of God.
