H.O.P.E.

HOPE (Husky Organization of Parents and Educators) is a ministry of Trinity Oaks Christian Academy designed to build community throughout the school. HOPE is run by volunteer parents and coordinates community building, volunteering, and fundraising activities throughout the school year. HOPE orchestrated events include Back-to-School Picnic, Outdoor Movie Night, Stade’s Farm Family Outing, Monthly Dine and Shares, Christmas Activities, Winter Carnival, Family Serve Night at Feed My Starving Children, Urban Air and Skate Night Fundraisers, and more!

HOPE also works to support the teachers and staff at TOCA through activities like room parent coordination, weekly “teacher treats” and the annual Christmas Luncheon. What’s more, the group coordinates a list of prayer requests for all teachers, and shares this list with a group of ladies who pray every Friday for the teachers, students, and school families' specific needs.

HOPE Events

TOCA families come together for a day of service as we spruce up the school for our first day back in the building. This is great opportunity for new families to enjoy fellowship with the TOCA family!

While it’s bittersweet for summer to end, we sure love getting together with our TOCA family and friends before the school year kicks off. Our back-to-school picnic is a time to enjoy fellowship, food and outdoor fun!

There’s nothing quite like a movie under the stars. Bring your blankets, pillows and lawn chairs; we’ll bring the popcorn and movie as the whole school comes together for a family-friendly night of entertainment.

Kick off the fall season with your TOCA friends as we enjoy a day of fellowship at the farm! The afternoon begins with an all-access pass to the family fun zone, complete with corn maze, petting zoo, and the kids’ favorite giant jumping pillow. As the evening comes to an end, the doors are closed to the general public and TOCA families fill the tractor-pulled wagons as we hit the fields for a hayride and return for a bonfire!

We love to open our doors to our extended TOCA family as the building is filled with multiple generations of families serving our Lord! Grandparents’ Day is a special opportunity for students to share their school with loved ones.

Love skating and good-old-fashioned Christian fun? On family skate night, we rent out the whole rink and spend the evening skating with TOCA friends and family while listening to Christian music!

Beat the winter blues as we head indoors for the much-anticipated winter carnival. Face-painting, balloon animals, carnival games, bouncy houses and food make this event a fun night for the whole family!

It is our privilege to give back to God’s people by dedicating an evening to serving at Feed My Starving Children. The whole TOCA community comes together for a Friday night of service as we pack meals to feed those in need.

Race For Education is TOCA’s only school-wide fundraiser. Students run, family and friends pledge, money is raised, and all this is done in the spirit of service and good old-fashioned FUN!

Before TOCA shuts its doors for the summer, we need to celebrate a year well done! After gathering in the gym for an assembly to pray thanksgiving for the blessings of the year and to ask for protection over the summer, TOCA families gather outdoors to share one last meal and fellowship opportunity before heading off to summer fun!
