Gro’ Zone
At Trinity Oaks Christian Academy, chapel (Gro’ Zone) is regularly scheduled throughout the year to bring students into a deeper understanding of a relationship with Jesus and His truth (Romans 10:9-13). Gro’ Zone aspires to create “spiritual moments” in the lives of every student (and staff member) where God can be worshiped and His Word creatively applied (Psalm 100:1-2). Christian educators, youth pastors, and guest speakers come together to instruct students in creative and practical activities that will strengthen their maturing faith. Gro’ Zones are God-honoring, child-sensitive, participatory and relevant to student concerns (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Gro'Zone Worship Team
We love seeing students involved in our bi-monthly time to “gro” in our relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ.
How do students get involved?
Students simply need to express their desire to serve and what areas they are able to serve to Mr. Searles. Some students play an instrument, sing, run tech, setup, and clean up the Gro-Zone room.
We begin each Gro'Zone with worship music that is student-led. Student worship teams choose, rehearse and lead their fellow students in worship to honor God. Mr. Searles selects worship teams, speakers and provides oversight to the different worship teams.
