National Honor Society

Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is a member of the National Honor Society which was established “to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools” (NHS Constitution). Membership is an honor conferred upon sophomores, juniors and seniors by the faculty in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments in the areas listed above. Students are required to have a GPA of 3.6 or better to be eligible to apply to NHS. An admitted student who does not live up to the standards of the society may be dismissed from membership.

National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is the nation’s premier organization for recognizing outstanding junior high students. More than just an honor roll, NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1929. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy is proud to be a member school of the National Junior Honor Society.
